Tutorial: How to Shop

Here is a brief tutorial on how to shop in this store. This is especially to benefit those who are not familiar with our new store, which was launched February 1st, 2010. All those who have shopped with us before this date must make a new account with our new store. We apologize for the inconvenience! Below is an example of paying dues for membership with the THS, but the same rules will assist with any order.

1) Any items may be found from the category menu on the left of each page, or through the search box located at the top right of every page where you see this icon: For example when purchasing a membership, select the Membership category on the left hand list. You will see a list of the levels of membership. Click on the one you want to purchase.

2) Within that listing (gold, silver or bronze), there are additional options to select. Scroll down and you will see a section near the bottom that says Please Choose:

Select the status of your membership from the drop down list. New, Renewal or Gift.
Select donation amount if you would like to add with to your membership (leave as is if not)
Enter any special instructions if there are any.
Click Add to Cart.

3) Once you have clicked Add to Cart you should see a page titled Your Shopping Cart Contents. and your membership choice in the cart with a bulleted note that says ·Membership - Renewing Membership.

4) Check to see that the quantity is correct. There is a box to the left in the shopping cart where you should see the number: 1. If it is 2 or more due to a previous shopping attempt, edit it to 1 and click Update Cart.

5) If all is well at this point, and you are not buying any other items, click Go to Checkout.

6) You are then asked to make an account or login. If the last time you shopped with us was before February 1st, 2010, you must make a new account. Any later shopping visits, you may enter as a returning customer. Fill out any necessary details in the New Customer data in the left hand column. At the bottom of that column click Continue when you are done.

7) Confirm your shipping address is correct. If so, click Continue Checkout

8) Confirm your billing address and enter your credit or debit card information. It must be Visa, American Express, Mastercard, or Discover. All amounts are in USD. Your credit card company will convert your bill to your local currency for you on your billing statement. Once you have entered your credit card information, click Continue Checkout.

9) This final page will let your review all your data entered into the store. Be sure it is all correct, then hit Confirm the Order once and wait for the order complete page to load. You will be told your invoice number and the store will send you an email with a copy of your order. You may review your orders any time at the store by logging in to your account.

Thank you for your purchase from the Titanic Museum Store. 7C’s Press, the Titanic Historical Society’s service provider since the 1970s, will process your order and the name will appear on your credit card receipt. Thanks.
