Albert, Ernest & the Titanic

Albert, Ernest & the Titanic

For the last two years I've been researching and creating by hand a limited edition artists' book based on the printers who worked aboard Titanic. The book has been printed letterpress which was printing technology utilised by these printers in 1912. Only 36 copies have been made. Foreword by renowned Irish author Colm Tóibín. Pre-launch copies of the book are available to purchase now.

I've been keeping a blog which gives an insight into the book's production. http://titanicletterpress.blogspot.com/

I hope people get a kick out of the blog.
I've enjoyed the journey so far!

Best,
Jamie

The book now has a website where you can find further information, photography and video.

The printers on Titanic were responsible for printing much of the well known ephemera from the maiden voyage and this book aims to shed some light on these important but little known crew members.
